There’s something I want to be honest about.
The Calendar Candle didn’t stop — but I had to slow down.
Between life, work, family, and just being human, there were moments where I couldn’t show up at the pace I wanted to. And instead of forcing it, I chose to pause, breathe, and protect my peace while I found my way back.
Now I’m here — easing back into the full swing of things.
Tonight, I’ll be pouring a bunch of candles. Not because I feel pressured, but because I feel ready again. Ready to create. Ready to pour intention back into every jar. Ready to reconnect with the reason I started The Calendar Candle in the first place.
This brand has always been about seasons — not just on a calendar, but in life. Some seasons are full and busy. Others are quiet and reflective. Both matter, and both are part of the process.
There were moments when I could have let how I felt stop me. When exhaustion, doubt, and fear tried to convince me that slowing down meant giving up. That the pause meant defeat.
But that wasn’t the truth.
Without God giving me strength and placing it in my heart that I am able, I wouldn’t be standing right here. I could have let emotions win. I could have allowed the enemy to convince me to quit. But I didn’t — because God didn’t allow me to.
As Scripture reminds me:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
— Philippians 4:13
This journey isn’t about perfection. It’s about obedience. It’s about showing up even when the pace looks different than planned and trusting God through every season — especially the quieter ones.
If you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for your patience, grace, and continued support. And if you’re new here, welcome. You’re meeting The Calendar Candle in a season of renewal — same quality, same love, just a deeper appreciation for balance, faith, and purpose.
This brand is moving forward — not because I never felt weak, but because God didn’t allow me to stay there.
With love,
Brittany
